Chef Jeevitha Jayakaran, as a culinary innovator, has successfully conceptualised and executed R&D for Ready-to-Cook (RTC) and Ready-to-Eat (RTE) product lines with a portfolio of 50+ SKUs, culminating in the creation of the brand Curried By Chef’s Kitchen. As a qualified Chef, she also holds an MBA (Master of Business Administration) in Marketing and has 20years of experience in the food industry / banking / insurance / realtor sectors.
This experience in food industry includes exposure to production, operations, procurement, quality control, and business management, which provides a strong foundation for setting up and running the proposed Ready-to-Cook and Ready-to-Eat food manufacturing unit.
She has gained practical knowledge in recipe standardization, vendor management, compliance with FSSAI norms, cost control, and marketing activities. She also has prior experience managing teams and ensuring consistent quality in food production environments.
In this project, she will oversee day-to-day factory operations, procurement, production planning, quality and hygiene management, and financial and administrative oversight. The chef has contributed more than 3 Crores of personal capital in terms of research, product development, market research and brand visibility, maintaining an impressive financial track record.
With strong industry understanding, hands-on technical skills, and a clear vision for growth, the chef is well-positioned to implement and scale the proposed food manufacturing unit in Coimbatore.
